We are very excited about the tomato harvest!

Tomatoes grow best in the heat of a dry long summer, and are more flavourful when grown outdoors, with the touch of the wind and sun. For many years, Yasser has searched for farmers who grows field tomatoes, as most tomatoes are grown in greenhouses these days - and this year we discovered that Knapps Country Market, just outside of Guelph, grows tomatoes in the old fashioned way.

We have been busy canning and preserving this year's bumper crop. And before the season ends we wanted to invite you to join us to savour these sweet, juicy  and versatile fruits of summer, in a five course tasting menu.
